അനന്തരം ദാവീദ്: ഞാൻ യോനാഥാന്റെ നിമിത്തം ദയ കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ശൗലിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിൽ ആരെങ്കിലും ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു അന്വേഷിച്ചു.
