అతని దగ్గరనుండి వెయ్యీ ఏడు వందల మంది గుర్రపు రౌతులను, ఇరవై వేల కాల్బలాన్ని పట్టుకుని, వారి గుర్రాల మందలో వంద ఉంచుకుని, మిగిలినవాటి చీలమండ నరాలను కోయించాడు.

And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots.
