ఎదోమీయులు దావీదుకు దాసులయ్యారు. దావీదు ఎదోము దేశమంతటిలో తన సైన్యాన్ని నిలిపాడు. దావీదు ఎక్కడికి వెళ్ళినా యెహోవా అతణ్ణి కాపాడుతూ వచ్చాడు.
