2 Samuël 6:10

David dan wilde de ark des HEEREN niet tot zich laten overbrengen in de stad Davids; maar David deed ze afwijken in het huis van Obed-Edom, den Gethiet.

So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
