ഇങ്ങനെ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുത്തുവാൻ മനസ്സില്ലാതെ ദാവീദ് അതിനെ ഗിത്യനായ ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി വെച്ചു.
