2 సమూయేలు 5:6

దేశంలో యెబూసీయులు నివసిస్తూ ఉన్నప్పుడు వారిపై దాడి చేసేందుకు దావీదూ అతని మనుషులూ యెరూషలేముకు వచ్చారు. దావీదు తమపైకి రాలేడన్న ధీమాతో యెబూసీయులు “నువ్వు మాపైకి వస్తే ఇక్కడ ఉన్న గుడ్డివాళ్ళు, కుంటివాళ్ళు నిన్ను తోలివేస్తారు” అని దావీదుకు కబురు పంపారు. దావీదు వారిపై దండెత్తి దావీదుపురం అని పిలిచే సీయోను కోటను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నాడు.
