แล้วอับเนอร์ร้องถามโยอาบว่า “จะให้ดาบกินเรื่อยไปหรือ ท่านไม่ทราบหรือว่าตอนปลายมือก็ขม อีกนานสักเท่าใดท่านจึงจะสั่งคนของท่านให้หยุดไล่ตามพี่น้องของเขา”
