അപ്പോൾ സെരൂയയുടെ മകനായ യോവാബും ദാവീദിന്റെ ചേവകരും പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഗിബെയോനിലെ കുളത്തിന്നരികെവെച്ചു അവരെ നേരിട്ടു; അവർ കുളത്തിന്റെ ഇപ്പുറത്തും മറ്റേവർ കുളത്തിന്റെ അപ്പുറത്തും ഇരുന്നു.
