Người lập tại đó một bàn thờ cho Đức Giê-hô-va, và dâng của lễ thiêu cùng của lễ thù ân. Thế thì, Đức Giê-hô-va động lòng thương Y-sơ-ra-ên, và tai họa trong xứ bèn ngừng lại.

And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.
