ઈશ્વરનો કોપ ફરીથી ઇઝરાયલ ઉપર સળગ્યો, તેમણે દાઉદને તેઓની વિરુદ્ધ ઉશ્કેરીને કહ્યું, “જા, ઇઝરાયલ તથા યહૂદિયાની વસ્તી ગણતરી કર.”
