ถึงแม้ว่าวงศ์วานของข้าพเจ้าไม่เป็นเช่นนั้นกับพระเจ้าแล้ว แต่พระองค์ยังทรงกระทำพันธสัญญาเนืองนิตย์กับข้าพเจ้าไว้ อันเป็นระเบียบทุกอย่างและมั่นคง เพราะนี่เป็นความรอดและความปรารถนาทั้งสิ้นของข้าพเจ้า ถึงแม้ว่าพระองค์ไม่ทรงกระทำให้เจริญขึ้น

Although my house be not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow.
