Och givoniterna sa till honom: ”Det handlar inte om silver eller guld mellan oss och Saul eller hans hus. Det är inte heller vår sak att döda någon man i Israel.” Och han sa: ”Vad säger ni att jag ska göra för er?”

And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.
