2 Samuel 21:4

De Gibonieten antwoordden hem: We hebben van Saul en zijn familie geen goud of zilver nodig; van de andere kant is het ons niet geoorloofd, iemand in Israël te doden. Hij vroeg daarop: Wat bedoelt gij dan, dat ik voor u doen zal?

And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.
