પછી પલિસ્તીઓ ફરીથી ઇઝરાયલ સાથે યુદ્ધ કરવા ગયા. તેથી દાઉદ તેના સૈન્ય સાથે જઈને પલિસ્તીઓની સામે લડ્યો. અને દાઉદ યુદ્ધ કરીને થાકી ગયો.
