તેથી દાઉદે અબિશાયને કહ્યું, “હવે બિખ્રીનો દીકરો શેબા આપણને આબ્શાલોમ કરતા વધારે નુકસાન પહોંચાડશે. તારા માલિકના ચાકરો, મારા સૈનિકોને લઈને તેનો પીછો કર, નહિ તો તે કિલ્લેબંધીવાળાં નગરોમાં પહોંચી જશે અને આપણી દ્રષ્ટિમાંથી તે છટકી જશે.”
