വർത്തമാനം കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ബാല്യക്കാരൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞാൻ യദൃച്ഛയാ ഗിൽബോവപർവ്വതത്തിലേക്കു ചെന്നപ്പോൾ ശൗൽ തന്റെ കുന്തത്തിന്മേൽ ചാരിനില്ക്കുന്നതും തേരും കുതിരപ്പടയും അവനെ തുടർന്നടുക്കുന്നതും കണ്ടു;

And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.
