เพราะว่าพระองค์ทรงรักศัตรูของพระองค์ และทรงเกลียดชังสหายของพระองค์ เพราะในวันนี้พระองค์ได้กระทำให้ประจักษ์แล้วว่า พระองค์ไม่ไยดีต่อนายทหารและบรรดาข้าราชการทั้งหลาย ในวันนี้ข้าพระองค์ทราบว่า ถ้าในวันนี้อับซาโลมยังมีชีวิตอยู่ และข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายก็ตายสิ้น พระองค์ก็จะพอพระทัย
