ત્યારે દાઉદે કહ્યું, “ઓ સરુયાના દીકરાઓ, મારે તમારી સાથે શું લેવા દેવા છે, કે આજે તમે મારા દુશ્મનો થયા છો? શું ઇઝરાયલમાં આજે કોઈ માણસને મારી નંખાય? કેમ કે શું હું નથી જાણતો કે હું આજે ઇઝરાયલનો રાજા છું?”

And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?
