దావీదు రెండు గుమ్మాల మధ్య వరండాలో కూర్చుని ఉన్నాడు. కాపలా కాసేవాడు గుమ్మంపైనున్న గోడమీదికి ఎక్కి చూసినప్పుడు ఒంటరిగా పరుగెత్తుకుంటూ వస్తున్న ఒకడు కనబడ్డాడు. కాపలా కాసేవాడు గట్టిగా అరుస్తూ రాజుకు ఈ సంగతి చెప్పాడు.
