അപ്പോൾ രാജാവു അബ്ശാലോംകുമാരൻ സുഖമായിരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നു അഹീമാസ്: യോവാബ് രാജാവിന്റെ ഭൃത്യനെയും അടിയനെയും അയക്കുമ്പോൾ വലിയോരു കലഹം കണ്ടു; എന്നാൽ അതു എന്തെന്നു ഞാൻ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
