પરંતુ એક જુવાન માણસે તેઓને જોઈને આબ્શાલોમને ખબર આપી તેથી યોનાથાન તથા અહિમાઆસ જલ્દીથી ચાલ્યા ગયા અને બાહુરીમમાં એક માણસને ઘરે આવ્યા, ત્યાં તેના આંગણામાં એક કૂવો હતો તેમાં તેઓ ઊતર્યા.
