Ilikuwa katika siku hizo shauri lililotolewa na Ahithofeli lilikuwa kama lile ambalo limeulizwa kwa Mungu. Ndivyo Daudi na Absalomu walivyoyaheshimu mashauri yote ya Ahithofeli.
