II SAMUELE 16:2

E il re disse a Siba: Che vuoi far di coteste cose? E Siba disse: Gli asini son per la famiglia del re, per cavalcarli; e il pane, e i frutti dalla state, son per li fanti, perchè mangino; e il vino è per quelli che saranno stanchi nel deserto, perchè bevano.

And the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The asses be for the king’s household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that such as be faint in the wilderness may drink.
