સર્વ ઇઝરાયલના માણસો રાજા પાસે ન્યાય માગવા આવતા ત્યારે તેઓની સાથે આબ્શાલોમ એ પ્રમાણે વર્તતો હતો. તેથી આબ્શાલોમે ઇઝરાયલના માણસોનાં મન જીતી લીધાં.
