अतः जितने इस्राएली राजा के पास अपना मुकद्दमा लेकर आते उन सभी से अबशालोम ऐसा ही व्यवहार किया करता था; इस प्रकार अबशालोम ने इस्राएली मनुष्यों के मन को हर लिया।

And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.
