หญิงชาวเทโคอาได้กราบทูลกษั​ตริ​ย์​ว่า​ “​โอ​ ข้าแต่​กษัตริย์​​เจ้​านายของหม่อมฉัน ​ขอให้​ความชั่วช้าตกอยู่กับหม่อมฉัน และกับวงศ์วานบิดาของหม่อมฉัน ​แต่​​กษัตริย์​และราชบัลลั​งก​์ของพระองค์อย่าให้​มี​โทษเลย”

And the woman of Tekoah said unto the king, My lord, O king, the iniquity be on me, and on my father’s house: and the king and his throne be guiltless.
