അബ്ശാലോമിന്നു മൂന്നു പുത്രന്മാരും താമാർ എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു മകളും ജനിച്ചിരുന്നു; അവൾ സൗന്ദര്യമുള്ള സ്ത്രീ ആയിരുന്നു.

And unto Absalom there were born three sons, and one daughter, whose name was Tamar: she was a woman of a fair countenance.
