तब योआब ने राजा के पास जाकर उसको यह बात सुनाई; और राजा ने अबशालोम को बुलवाया। अतः वह उसके पास गया, और उसके सम्मुख भूमि पर मुँह के बल गिरकर दण्डवत् की; और राजा ने अबशालोम को चूमा।

So Joab came to the king, and told him: and when he had called for Absalom, he came to the king, and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the king: and the king kissed Absalom.
