En haar broeder Absalom zeide tot haar: Is uw broeder Amnon bij u geweest? Nu dan, mijn zuster, zwijg stil, hij is uw broeder; zet uw hart niet op deze zaak. Alzo bleef Thamar en was eenzaam in het huis van haar broeder Absalom.
