അതിന്റെ ശേഷം സംഭവിച്ചതു: ദാവീദിന്റെ മകനായ അബ്ശാലോമിന്നു സൗന്ദര്യമുള്ള ഒരു സഹോദരി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൾക്കു താമാർ എന്നു പേർ; ദാവീദിന്റെ മകനായ അമ്നോന്നു അവളിൽ പ്രേമം ജനിച്ചു.

And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her.
