બે વર્ષ થયા પછી એમ થયું કે, એફ્રાઇમે નજીકના બાલ-હાસોરમાં આબ્શાલોમ પાસે ઘેટાં કાતરનારાઓને કામે બોલાવ્યા હતા, ત્યાં આબ્શાલોમે રાજાના સર્વ કુંવરોને આમંત્રણ આપ્યું હતું.
