દાઉદનો દીકરો આમ્નોન તેની સાવકી બહેન તામાર પ્રત્યે મોહિત થયો. તે ખૂબ સુંદર હતી. આબ્શાલોમ તેનો સગો ભાઈ હતો. તે પણ દાઉદનો દીકરો હતો.

And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her.
