तब अबशालोम ने अपने सेवकों को आज्ञा दी, “सावधान रहो और जब अम्नोन दाखमधु पीकर नशे में आ जाए, और मैं तुम से कहूँ, ‘अम्नोन को मार डालना।’ क्या इस आज्ञा का देनेवाला मैं नहीं हूँ? हियाव बाँधकर पुरुषार्थ करना।”

¶ Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant.
