2. ശമൂവേൽ 12:4

ധനവാന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഒരു വഴിയാത്രക്കാരൻ വന്നു; തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്ന വഴിപോക്കന്നുവേണ്ടി പാകംചെയ്‌വാൻ സ്വന്ത ആടുമാടുകളിൽ ഒന്നിനെ എടുപ്പാൻ മനസ്സാകാതെ, അവൻ ആ ദരിദ്രന്റെ കുഞ്ഞാടിനെ പിടിച്ചു തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്ന ആൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പാകം ചെയ്തു.

And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man’s lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
