విలాప సమయం ముగిసిన తరువాత దావీదు తన మనుషులను పంపి ఆమెను తన భవనానికి రప్పించుకున్నాడు. ఆమె దావీదుకు భార్యగా ఉండి ఒక కొడుకును కన్నది. అయితే దావీదు చేసిన ఈ పని యెహోవా దృష్టిలో పాపంగా నిలిచిపోయింది.

And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.
