ఆ మనుషులు ఎంతో అవమానం పొందారని దావీదు విన్నప్పుడు, వారిని కలుసుకోవడానికి మనుషులను పంపించి “మీ గడ్డాలు పెరిగే వరకూ యెరికో పట్టణంలో ఆగిపోయి ఆ తరువాత యెరూషలేము రండి” అని వారికి చెప్పమన్నాడు.
