અરામીઓ ઇઝરાયલ સામેથી નાસી ગયા. દાઉદે અરામીઓના સાતસો રથસવારોને તથા ચાળીસ હજાર ઘોડેસવારોને મારી નાખ્યા. તેઓના સૈન્યનો સેનાપતિ શોબાખ ઘવાયો અને ત્યાં જ મરણ પામ્યો.
