2 เปโตร 3:4

และจะถามว่า “คำที่ทรงสัญญาไว้ว่าพระองค์จะเสด็จมานั้นอยู่​ที่ไหน​ เพราะว่าตั้งแต่บรรพบุรุษหลับล่วงไปแล้ว ​สิ​่งทั้งปวงก็​เป็นอยู่​เหมือนที่​ได้​​เป็นอยู่​​ตั้งแต่​เดิมทรงสร้างโลก”

And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
