e non risparmiò il mondo antico; ma salvò Noè, predicator di giustizia, sol con otto persone, avendo addotto il diluvio sopra il mondo degli empi;

And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
