En de ruiter te paard toog heen hem tegemoet, en zeide: Zo zegt de koning: Is het vrede? En Jehu zeide: Wat hebt gij met den vrede te doen? Keer om naar achter mij. En de wachter gaf het te kennen, zeggende: De bode is tot hen gekomen, maar hij komt niet weder.
