ఇతడు అహాబు కూతుర్ని పెళ్ళి చేసుకున్నాడు. కాబట్టి ఇతడు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుల్లాగే వ్యవహరించాడు. అహాబు కుటుంబానికి చెందిన వాడిలా ప్రవర్తించాడు. యెహోవా దృష్టికి దుర్మార్గంగా కనిపించేదే చేశాడు.
