ఎవరి భుజంపై రాజు ఆనుకుని నిలబడ్డాడో ఆ అధికారిని ద్వారం దగ్గర ఉండమని రాజు ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు. అయితే ఆ అధికారి ప్రజల తొక్కిసలాటలో నలిగి చనిపోయాడు. రాజు తనని చూడడానికి వచ్చినప్పుడు దేవుని మనిషి చెప్పిన దాని ప్రకారం ఇది జరిగింది.

¶ And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.
