సిరియా సైన్యం కోసం యొర్దాను నది వరకూ వెళ్ళారు. సిరియా సైన్యం పారిపోతూ ఆ హడావుడిలో దారి పొడుగునా బట్టలూ, ఇతర సామగ్రీ పారేసుకుంటూ వెళ్ళారు. కాబట్టి వార్తాహరులు తిరిగి వెళ్ళి రాజుకు ఆ సమాచారం ఇచ్చారు.

And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.
