Besluiten we de stad in te gaan, dan sterven we daar van de honger; blijven we hier, dan sterven we ook. We moesten dus maar naar het kamp der Arameën overlopen. Laten ze ons in het leven, dan blijven we leven; doden ze ons, dan sterven we maar.
