II RE 7:9

Ma poi dissero l'uno all'altro: Noi non facciamo bene; questo giorno è un giorno di buone novelle, e noi tacciamo! Se aspettiamo fino allo schiarir del dì, noi riceveremo la pena del nostro fallo; ora dunque venite, e andiamo a rapportar la cosa alla casa del re.

Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.
