II RE 7:15

E coloro andarono dietro a' Siri, fino al Giordano; ed ecco, tutta la via era piena di vestimenti e d'arnesi, che i Siri aveano gittati via, affrettandosi di fuggire. E que' messi ritornarono, e rapportarono il fatto al re.

And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.
