ఎలీషా మాట్లాడుతూ ఉండగానే రాజు పంపిన మనిషి, వాడి వెనకే రాజూ వచ్చారు. అప్పుడు రాజు “ఈ హాని మనకు యెహోవా వల్ల జరిగింది. ఇక మనం ఆయన కోసం ఎందుకు ఎదురు చూడాలి?” అన్నాడు.

And while he yet talked with them, behold, the messenger came down unto him: and he said, Behold, this evil is of the LORD; what should I wait for the LORD any longer?
