அவர்கள் அவனிடத்தில் வரும்போது, எலிசா யெகோவாவை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்செய்து: இந்த மக்களுக்குக் கண்மயக்கம் உண்டாகும்படிச் செய்யும் என்றான்; எலிசாவுடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே அவர்களுக்குக் கண்மயக்கம் உண்டாகச் செய்தார்.

And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
