Och när de kom ner till honom bad Elisha till Herren (Jahveh) och sa: ”Slå detta folk, jag ber dig, med blindhet.” Och han slog dem med blindhet efter Elishas ord.

And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
