தேவனுடைய மனிதனாகிய எலிசாவின் வேலைக்காரன் கேயாசி என்பவன், அந்தச் சீரியனாகிய நாகமான் கொண்டுவந்ததை என் எஜமான் அவனுடைய கையிலிருந்து வாங்காமல் அவனை விட்டுவிட்டார்; நான் அவன் பின்னே ஓடி, அவனுடைய கையிலிருந்து ஏதாகிலும் வாங்குவேன் என்று யெகோவாவுடைய ஜீவன்மேல் ஆணையிட்டு,

¶ But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.
